We remember that in the previous article written by Yash Khaitan we talked about the Sony Xperia coming in early of 2016, well that wish has come true. The Sony Xperia X series was released at MWC few days back. Sony released 3 types of the Xperia X.

Xperia XA

Specs

IT has a MediaTek Helio P10 at either 1.1GHz. The GPU is the ARM Mali-T860MP2. This has a standard 2Gb of LPDDR3 RAM with 16GB of storage and microSD explainable. The rear camera is 13MP and the front has a 8MP camera. The battery is a 2300 mAh battery which is very basic. The OS is obviously Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For those people wondering about if NFC is supported, its not.

Design

This has a 5″ 1280×720 display. The design is a little similar to the Samsung S6 and S6 Edge. The buttons are all on the right side as well. The demintions are 143.6 x 33.8 x 7.9 (mm) weighing 137.4 grams.

Overall

This device overall is a budget friendly device for those with little money. This is pretty much basic or minimum smartphone specs these days.

Xperia X

Specs

The processor is a Snapdragon 650 running at 1.8GHz. The GPU built in is a Adreno 510. This also has an improved 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB of storage and microSD expandable. The camera is a 23MP rear and 13MP front which is one of the best cameras I have seen on a smartphone. The battery gets improved from the Xperia XA with a 2620 mAh battery. Unlike the Xperia XA this also has NFC support and fingerprint scanner integrated power button.

Design

This has a 5″ 1920 x 1080 display. The design is a little similar to the Samsung S6 and S6 Edge. The buttons are all on the right side as well. The demintions are 142.7 x 69.4 x 7.9 (mm) weighing 153 grams.

Overall

This device overall is more of the standard or the device most people would buy. This has all the features you need and want.

Xperia X Performance

Specs

This just like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and the LG G5 has the Snapdragon 820 running at 2.15GHz. The GPU is the Adreno 530 like many other devices. It has 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and not LPDDR3 and has 32GB of storage and microSD expandable.  The camera is a 23MP rear and 13MP front which is one of the best cameras I have seen on a smartphone. The battery gets improved from the Xperia X with a 2700 mAh battery. Just like the Xperia X this also has NFC support and fingerprint scanner integrated power button.

Design

This has a 5″ 1920 x 1080 display. The design is a little similar to the Samsung S6 and S6 Edge. The buttons are all on the right side as well. The demintions are 144.8 x 71.1 x 7.62 (mm) weighing 164.4 grams.

Overall

I think this one can compete with the new releases but other than the processor, GPU, RAM and battery nothing is different from the Xperia X.

Conclusion

Overall a great smartphone with great specs especially the camera. The finish on the phones are super nice looking with a metallic finish.  I am overall satisfied with this phone and curious about the pricing.
