2015 is coming to an end, a lot of smartphone released this year, and a lot of bad ones too. Let’s take a look at the best smartphone and explain why we chose that phone. Things that we factored in were software experience, build quality, specs, features, and price.
The Winner:Nexus 6P
We chose the Huawei built Nexus 6P. It runs vanilla/stock Android, has great specs, a lightning fast fingerprint sensor, and is first in line for updates. The software is Marshmellow and gets the latest and greatest updates from Google. It has doze which increases standby time, Nexus Imprint, and one of the first phones to have Google’s Now on Tap. It has great specs including a 3450 mAh battery, it charges up to 7 hours of use from only 10 minutes of charging which is pretty quick compared to other phones in the market. The Nexus 6p has a 3gb RAM memory and can have Internal storage upto: 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB. It has the Latest version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1, 2.0 GHz octa-core 64-bit Adreno 430 GPU. The phone comes out with the operating system which is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone weighs about 180 grams and its dimensions are 159.3 X 77.8 X 7.3 mm. Lastly the Nexus 6p comes with Dual front-facing stereo speaker, 3 microphones (2 front, 1 rear) with noise cancellation. It also has an autofocus feature which allows you focus on things you want to take a picture of. It has a 4k resolution (30fps) video capture. One of my personal favorite feature of the phone is that at the back it has a circle which is a security fingerprint sensor. With one tap on the circle it can turn on the phone, quickly access your apps and help you with Android pay. It has a Single USB Type-C, a Single Nano SIM slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The build quality is phenomenal and has a aluminum construction. It also is the first device to utilize Nexus Imprint. Huawei is known for their fast fingerprint scanners, and according to some it is faster than Touch ID on the iPhone 6s. The QHD screen is comparable to the Note 5’s with great color and contrast.
