Gaming Computer Build: $1000 Budget

Looking for a good gaming computer build for under $1000 (includes monitor, keyboard and mouse)? They may be pretty hard to find, but today at TechBerge we have a good build for you. I personally have this build/edit, and it runs very well. This PC can run at high settings on games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive and also Black Ops 3 with no lag on high settings. You can also run Minecraft at over 200fps on fancy settings. So, let’s get on with it!

Base Computer: HP 550se 17 6700 3.4 GHz

Price: $600

This computer goes for $750, but if you buy it at the correct time (Black Friday, etc.) then it can go for as little as $600. You might need to buy this online, because most of these 550se’s come with i5 processors. If you go to the HP website, you can change it to an i7 6700 3.4 GHz. This computer also comes with Windows 10 and 12 GB RAM. It also comes with a DVD drive. This computer also comes with a mouse and keyboard, but additional keyboards and mouses will be listed below.

Power Supply: Corsair 500w Power Supply

Price: $60

This power supply is very good. I personally don’t have this one ( I have the EVGA 500w) and I recommend this if you have the extra money. You will need to reconnect the wires, and replace the current 300w power supply.

Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 2GB

Price: $200

This graphics card is very nice for it’s price. You can just insert it right into the slot on the motherboard and plug in the cable from the power supply.

Monitor: Asus Ve248H 24″ Full HD 1920×1080 2ms HDMI DVI-D VGA Back-lit LED Monitor

Price: $160

This monitor is a very solid monitor. It is frameless, 1080p, and 24 inches for great quality.

TOTAL: $960

I hope you use this build! If you decide to go with this and require assistance, please ask below in the comments.
